    Andy Maddocks

    Andy set up Intelligensa in 2013 following a distinguished career in the Metropolitan Police Service (MPS), responsible for identifying strategic criminal threats and developing tactical intelligence to reduce the threat to the safety and security of the London Olympic Games 2012. He has been recognised and commended for his outstanding abilities in this role. Andy was Detective Inspector in a London Borough responsible for major crime, domestic violence crime, hate crime, missing persons, overseeing sex offenders, the implementation of Every Child Matters and sat on the Safeguarding Vulnerable Adults Board. Throughout his service Andy was also a trainer for physical restraint techniques, handcuffing, use of batons, etc. He has extensive professional experience of conflict management, restraint, breakaway and self defence. He continues to teach in both the public and private sectors including nursery, primary, secondary and SEN schools; children's homes and the care and health sectors.
